Psychological assessment bookings go through the Center for Behavioral Health
Appointments can be booked on (02) 8988-1000, extension 2264. The centre also accepts bookings by email.
The centre’s psychological assessments combine an interview with several tests. Alongside intelligence, they assess difficulties at school or work, mood, and relationships, helping connect people with appropriate support or clinical care. Within this assessment, the WAIS provides a detailed evaluation of cognitive abilities.
The WAIS is administered one to one, and the report is prepared after testing
The core WAIS-IV tasks usually take 60–90 minutes. Working one to one with the examiner, you complete tasks involving verbal and visual reasoning, remembering information, and working quickly. A comprehensive psychological assessment adds time for interviews and other tests.
After testing, the psychologist brings together the scores and interview information to prepare a report. This includes overall IQ and results for different abilities. If you have a broader psychological assessment, the findings also draw on tests of areas beyond cognitive ability.
The cost of a WAIS assessment in the Philippines and the time needed to receive the results are covered in separate guides.
