If membership is the only goal, the IQ Challenge is the direct choice for someone aged 14 or over. Registration and payment are handled through the current Mensa Philippines event listing. Prior evidence is the better route when the applicant is under 14 or already has a professional result at the qualifying level.
The IQ Challenge focuses on timed visual logic and spatial patterns
The IQ Challenge is an approximately 40-minute in-person test focused on visual logic, patterns, and spatial reasoning rather than language or mathematics.
Prepare by practising accurate visual reasoning under a time limit.

Prior evidence is the route for under-14s or an existing professional result
Mensa Philippines accepts a formal professional certificate instead of the regular test. This route is required for applicants under 14 and is also available at any age when a qualifying professional result already exists.
The certificate must show the applicant's name and birth information, the test name and date, a score at or above the 98th percentile, and the qualified psychologist's name, certification, and contact details. Mensa Philippines accepts the certificate as a PDF at president@mensaphilippines.org. A document written in another language needs a formal English translation.
For Mensa membership alone, paying for a new WAIS is usually the longer and more expensive route. WAIS becomes the stronger choice when the overall IQ result, domain scores, and professional interpretation are also useful. Results usually arrive in one to two weeks
For recent IQ Challenge events, one to two weeks is the useful expectation for the qualification result.
Current Mensa Philippines answers allow retesting after six months and do not set a lifetime attempt cap.
The event fee and membership dues are separate. Membership currently costs PHP 1,700 for one year or PHP 3,500 for three years. If a lapsed member rejoins, a PHP 500 administration fee also applies.
