Start with WAIS-IV-CDN and the relevant provincial route
Pearson Canada's WAIS-IV-CDN page lists the fourth-edition Canadian assessment at Qualification Level C. This is the current Canadian edition.
Its primary index structure includes VCI, PRI, WMI, and PSI. A WAIS-5 result can divide the older perceptual-reasoning area into VSI and FRI, so PRI from WAIS-IV-CDN should not be relabelled as either fifth-edition index.
Psychologist regulation and scope are set by provinces and territories, not one national licensing rule. In Ontario, for example, the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario is the regulator. Use the regulator for the province or territory involved and match the provider's scope and experience to the referral question.
Before booking, confirm the complete edition name and norms, who administers, interprets, and signs, what the report includes, the assessment-to-report dates and total quote, and whether any receiving organisation accepts that provider and document.
The US Version and WAIS 5-CDN are separate from WAIS-IV-CDN
Pearson Canada also sells a WAIS-5 US Version. Pearson frames it for situations where US norms are clinically appropriate or for training before a Canadian edition is available.
Its availability in the Canadian store does not make it Canadian-standardised. A provider proposing the US Version should explain why US norms are appropriate for the person, referral question, and receiving institution.
WAIS 5-CDN is separate from both and remains in Canadian development and standardisation. If a provider refers to WAIS 5-CDN, check Pearson Canada's live catalogue for a released product before treating it as available.

Pearson's WAIS-IV-CDN telepractice guidance addresses professional judgment and departures from the conditions behind face-to-face norms. It does not create a self-contained online test for consumers.
