Most Canadian WAIS reports take two to six weeks
| Assessment scope | Typical time after final testing |
|---|---|
| Focused private assessment | Around 2 weeks |
| Standard private assessment | About 2–6 weeks |
| Complex or disability-oriented report | About 4–6 weeks |
Count from the completion of final data collection. Additional tests, information from family members or schools, medical records, and a detailed report extend the work. The provider waiting list occurs before that period; the Canadian access guide covers the booking route.
Feedback and the final document may be delivered on different dates
Oral feedback, draft findings, the signed psychological report, diagnosis, and a later decision by a school, insurer, employer, or government body can all have different dates.
For self-understanding, feedback may be the point when you receive the information you need. For disability or external use, the signed report marks completion of the assessment itself; the receiving organisation's decision comes later. Canadian WAIS costs explains which package includes it, and how to read WAIS results explains the scores.
