For private access, self-refer to an AHPRA-registered psychologist who provides adult cognitive assessment for your intended purpose. Confirm that the quote includes the assessment, feedback, and a signed report suited to that use.
Public, community, school, and funded services provide assessment through relevant clinical or programme pathways. Eligibility, referral requirements, and service capacity determine access and the assessment provided.

WAIS-5 A&NZ is the current local edition
WAIS-5 Australian and New Zealand is the current locally standardised edition, published in 2025. Book that edition unless the psychologist recommends WAIS-IV for a specific comparison or assessment purpose.
After the scope is agreed, you complete an intake and take the test in a live, supervised session with the psychologist. The psychologist then interprets the scores, gives feedback, and issues the signed report.
