Mensa Singapore's admission standard is the 98th percentile—the top 2%. From age 14, applicants can use either MSAT or an approved external score; applicants under 14 use an external score from a certified psychologist.

Use MSAT when membership qualification is the only goal and the external route when a qualifying professional record already exists.

Time management is therefore central. Endless untimed puzzle practice misses the main demand: finding the rule accurately while moving through the set quickly. Online practice is not an admission route.
External evidence is the route to use an existing professional result
A qualifying WAIS result can be used as external evidence when its score and documentation meet Mensa Singapore's accepted criteria.

Retesting is limited and membership is a separate step
Candidates cannot retake MSAT within 12 months and can attempt it no more than twice under the current rules. Successful candidates then complete the separate membership application.
Current membership fees are SGD 60 for one year or SGD 160 for three years. Eligible students and full-time NSMen pay SGD 48 for one year or SGD 128 for three years, and the SGD 15 entrance fee for new members is waived.
