Choose the supervised test or prior evidence
Mensa Canada uses a qualifying result at or above the 98th percentile. An applicant can take the organization's supervised entrance test or submit prior evidence from an accepted professionally administered assessment.
The supervised test is available from age 14; applicants under 14 need appropriate prior evidence. Mensa Canada lists CAD 90 for an individual entrance test, CAD 70 for a student entrance test, and CAD 90 for individual prior-evidence evaluation. Membership dues are separate.
The entrance test returns percentile equivalency rather than a numerical IQ score or full cognitive assessment report. Confirm the current result timeline and retest rule in the live booking route.
Unsupervised tests are not prior evidence
The prior-evidence rules require an appropriate test administered under accepted conditions. Internet tests and unsupervised tests are not accepted. An officially supervised Mensa Canada session offered online remains an entrance-test route; a score from an unsupervised consumer website does not.

Match the route to the required output
If membership is the only goal, use the current option on the official test page. If the person also needs clinical interpretation, educational or workplace documentation, or a detailed cognitive profile, a professional assessment serves that separate purpose and may also qualify as prior evidence when it meets Mensa Canada's rules.
