The period begins after the assessment and final data collection. NHS and private booking waits occur before that clock. Additional tests, records, and a broader report can extend it. The UK access guide explains the booking routes.
Initial feedback and the final report may arrive separately
Brief feedback may answer the immediate question. The signed report comes later and marks completion of the assessment itself. A diagnosis or a decision by a referrer or another organisation may follow on a separate date.
