Mensa India joining routes and fees
Mensa India publishes three paths into membership:
- take its Official Test;
- submit qualifying Prior Evidence; or
- transfer from another national Mensa organization.
Current testing and review fees are:

The public joining information does not give one retest interval or attempt limit for all Official Test sessions, so before paying, check the applicable rule in the selected application along with age eligibility, location and format, and result delivery.
Prior Evidence needs the accepted test and the required scores
Mensa India's prior-evidence route evaluates results from previously administered tests. Its official evidence information includes WAIS-IV among the tests it may accept.
For WAIS-IV, the submitted record must contain the subtests needed to calculate FSIQ. GAI is not a general substitute for FSIQ. The guidance mentions it only under a specific WISC-IV condition.
Confirm the accepted test and edition, required composite and subtest records, examiner details, and submission method before paying the INR 2,000 review fee. Mensa India makes the final decision on whether a WAIS-IV India or other result meets its rules.
Testing, joining, and membership have separate prices
Mensa India's current official fee schedule separately lists:
- INR 1,500 as a joining fee;
- INR 1,200 for annual membership;
- INR 5,000 for five-year membership; and
- INR 15,000 for life membership.
These payments are separate from the Official Test, PreTest, and Prior Evidence fees.
