Mensa India's admission standard is the 98th percentile—the top 2%. You qualify by reaching that standard on the applicable test form.

Use the Official Test when membership qualification is the only goal and Prior Evidence when an eligible complete score record already exists.
The Official Test uses a CFIT-type nonverbal format
Official Test applications and payment are handled through Mensa India's joining page. The selected chapter or event delivers the qualification result.
The Official Test uses short, strictly timed sections involving nonverbal classification, patterns, and rule discovery. Some sittings use CFIT Forms A and B. Success depends on rapid, accurate work across the sections, so prepare through timed practice with the format and disciplined pacing.
The Mensa India PreTest is an at-home readiness test costing INR 550. The PreTest cannot qualify you, and general online IQ tests do not count as professional prior evidence.
Prior evidence requires a complete qualifying score record
Mensa India's current Prior Evidence list includes WAIS-IV. The submission must contain the qualifying FSIQ, every subtest needed to calculate it, and complete examiner documentation. GAI is not used in place of FSIQ for a WAIS-IV application.

Membership fees begin after qualification
After qualification, the current joining fee is INR 1,500. Membership then costs INR 1,200 annually, INR 5,000 for five years, or INR 15,000 for life.
